Let’s have a fun lesson today!

Love is such an amazing emotion. Love can make you laugh or cry, be happy or sad. Love can make you do things you never thought you would do. Love will bring closeness with others, which is intoxicating. Love will make you want to cuddle up on a cold snowy day, order pizza, turn off the TV, and talk the day away. Love will keep you up at night trying to figure out a way to make the day last a bit longer. Love makes you jump out of bed in the morning because you are so excited to get the day going. Love is always amazing, even when times may be tough. Yes love hurts sometimes, but once you work through it, you will see that you were better for having it in your experience.

Love can also be very complex. There are many different sides and shades of love that the Eeyore in me is screaming to warn you about and try to protect you from. We have years to sit and talk about love and there will be many life lessons on the topic, but today we are focusing on what love encompasses. Love is the thing you strive for in all that you do. Hopefully when you look in the mirror, what you see looking back is a whole lot of love. If you ever want to know what love looks like because you are having a difficult time finding it, take a moment and look directly in Mommy or Daddy’s eyes. I promise, you will always find love there.
